C.U.E. Magazine is the first national student-based Historically Black Colleges and Universities publication of its kind.It's the only student magazine that features editorials on campus life, educational information, entertainment and sports. Originating of the campuses of Howard University and the University of the District of Columbia(UDC), C.U.E. offers students a fresh and new comprehensive way of staying ahead of the educational challenge.
C.U.E. Magazine is the first publication of its kind. It's the only student-based magazine that provides news , updates on undergraduate , graduate and professional school examination ; scholarship and internship details and interviews with some of today's hottest entertainers and sports figures.
C.U.E. "keeps it real" and gives college students the food for thought they need to survive , while living life on campus. We offer insight on minority student issues like , more minority female coaches and the need for corporate America to create jobs for minority students.
C.U.E. Magazine covers all the essential elements of a contemporary 18-34 year olds life: Educational information , career opportunities , music , fashion , politics , technology and sports.
Founded by J. Laffeyette Carter, a former HBCU student who attended both UDC and Howard university through the Consortium of Colleges and Universities program. When he graduated in 1993 and hung up his football cleats and received a bachelor's degree in environmental science , Carter wanted to create a publication that enhance students educational growth, as well as keep them abreast of all the relevant educational, entertainment and sports news.
